18 July, Honouring of our former President
At the Siemens Campus Festival, our long-standing President Harald Freund was awarded a certificate of honor for his outstanding commitment to the Siemens Freizeitgemeingemeinschaft e.V. and his services to Erlangen sports.
18. July, Siemens Campus Festival
The Siemens Campus Festival – for employees from all locations in the greater Erlangen area, as well as their families and friends. The SGS-Unterwassergruppe was there with an information booth.
4. July, Geräteraumfest
We held our equipment room party again in fine weather—this time themed around the SGS-Unterwassergruppe 65th anniversary. There was a wide array of treats, ranging from salads and grilled food to cakes, and plenty of drinks were provided, of course. Harald gave a retrospective look at the Underwater Group's first 50 years. Once again, the event was excellently organized by Petra and Wolfgang.
2. May, Hike in May
For many years, our hike to the "Holy Mountain of the Franconians"—from Ermreus to the Walberla—has taken place on the first Saturday in May. Afterward, we met at Karin and Harald’s place for coffee and cake.
